Ivory G. Lambert, age 85, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Life Care Center. She attended Rock of Refuge Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Lee Lambert Sr.; son, Luther Lee Lambert Jr.; daughter, Roxie Marie Drinnon; and parents, Hugh and Nora Bryant. Survivors include her daughters, Edith (Bill) Hopper and Tammy (Jeff) Wells; grandchildren, Lonnie Brewer, Jamie Barnard, Michael Drinnon, Lacy Blankenship, Dilan Lambert, and Luther Lee Lambert III; great-grandchildren, Cindy Johnson and Tabitha Brewer; great-great-grandchildren, Madison Johnson, Ethen Kyle, Jaelynn Drinnon, Mackenzie Drinnon, and Cole Brewer; sister, Piney Bowman of Danville VA; brother, Memphis Bryant of New Tazewell; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Wells officiating. Family and friends will meet in Lambert Cemetery in Tazewell on Saturday at 12:50 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening prior to the service at the funeral home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
