James Edward “Rocky” Cook, age 50, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 8, 2015. He was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Edward Cook; and step-son, Joshua Gentry. Survivors include his wife, Terry Brooks Cook; step-son, Cody (Courtney) Glasscock of Mooresburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randall and Doris Brooks; sister-in-law, Lori Brooks; brother-in-law, Ross (Janie) Brooks; mother, Betty Cox Cook; children, Logan (Amanda) Cook and Samantha (Jason) Pagel; brothers, Frank Edward “Eddie” Cook Jr, Charlie (Jennifer) Cook; sister, Patricia (Dallas) Hurst; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at Big Hill Cemetery on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
