James Robert “JR” Moore, age 75 of Morristown, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at UT Medical Center. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #767 of Morristown. Survivors include his children, Jimmy (Brenda) Moore, Deborah (Jeff) Stephens, Lea Ann Moore; step-children, Tracy (Debbie) Rogers, Kathy Davis, Shelia Rogers, David Rogers; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, David R. (Pearl) Moore, Floyd E. Moore, Warren Lee Moore; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dixie Kite. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jack Greene officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the services. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
