James Webb

Pastor Arnold Webb, age 75, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2016. Arnold was a Godly husband, father, grandfather, and pastor, whose life revolved around taking care of his family, his church, his community and others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Joe Webb. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Doris Webb; daughters and sons-in-law, Lenore and Robb Shattuck and Jennifer and Richard Jones; twin granddaughters, Madison and Madeline Jones; brother, Larry Hughes and wife, Irene; sisters, Marylou Anderson and husband, Don, and Faye Helton and husband, Jerry; special cousins, Burl Lovin and Marjorie Dockery; special sister-in-law, Donna Dupler; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 4 – 7:00 p.m. A celebration of home going service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. David Hawkins and Dr. Horace Brown officiating. Family and friends will meet in Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery in Bulls Gap on Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Gideons International, PO Box 1513, Morristown, TN 37816. Services are under the direction of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
