John Carson Haggard, a cherished individual known for his kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality left us on December 22, 2024. John was only 59 when he passed after a very sudden decline in health due to an aggressive cancer.
John was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he had enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever to the brim with knowledge through all of his life experiences. John was a United States Navy Veteran and retired Postal Service worker. He was an avid hunter and a loving family man.
He is preceded in death by his parents; George and Shirley Haggard. Sister; Kathy Haggard.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Sherry King Haggard; Son: Andrew (Dakota) Haggard; Step Sons: Bryan (Kasey) Wilder, Justin (Tina) Dalton; Step Daughters: Christina Wilder, Chasity Dalton; Grandchildren: Landry Wilder, Titus Ray, Madison Hill, Eviee Grace and Brady Dalton; Brother: George “ Chuck” (Pam) Haggard; Sister: Carol (Bob) Wood as well as several other loved ones.
Services will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday January 2, 2025 with receiving friends beginning at 10am and service to start at 11am. The graveside service will follow at 1pm at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
