Kathleen “Mamaw” Bacon Stubblefield, age 93, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Heritage Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Stubblefield; parents, Sam and Anna Bacon; grandsons, Mark and Jeff Antrican, Kenny Roberts; great-grandson, Byron Stubblefield; brothers, Pete, Walter, and Robert Bacon; and sons-in-law, Roy Eddie Rogers, James C. Antrican, and Grant D. Antrican. Survivors include her children, Sarah A. Rogers of Charlotte, NC, Texie M. (Ken “Stoney”) Burk, Mary E. “Fannie” Antrican, Carolyn G. Antrican, and John L. Stubblefield, Jr.; grandchildren, Kim (Andy) Hellenthal, Kathy L. (Tim) Turner, Doug (Jennifer) Antrican, John (Amy) Antrican, Melissa (Eric) Carson, Jennifer Stubblefield, and April Stubblefield; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Erwin officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.
