Lemuel Frank Southerland

L. Frank Southerland, age 65, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and attended Cedar Creek Baptist Church. He worked as a contractor building houses. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Ann Southerland; parents, James and Alice Southerland; and brother, Roy Wayne Southerland. Survivors include his son, James Kevin Southerland; daughter, Cheri (Charles) Moore; grandchildren, Caitie Moore, Jolee Southerland, Cody Moore; sister, Freddie (Charles) Howerton; mother-in-law, Florence Johns; sister-in-law, Shirley (Jeff) Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Greene and Rev. Ricky Witt officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Cathy was my friend since 1st grade.We went all thru school together.Then Frank came into the picture and he was a keeper. 2 of the greatest people you,d ever meet.So hard to believe they are both gone but happy to know they are together again. Love you guys,..Margie
