Leonard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran having served in the Navy Seabees as a steelworker, building the science center in Antarctica. He was an avid motorcycle rider and walking horse showman.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Georgia Marie Smith and Leonard Farr Smith, Jr. and brother: Tomas C. Smith.
He leaves behind his wife: Deborah Smith; children: Michelle Drake and Kristy Gutarra, along with a granddaughter: Aaralyn Drake; brother: Daniel A. Smith and wife, Deena L. Smith. Nieces and nephews: Nathaniel A. Smith, Selena A. Salisbury, Keith Smith and Duane Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stubblefield Funeral Home.
Military graveside services will be on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Mountain Home Veterans Cemetery.
