Bev was a hard-working family man who never met a stranger. Following his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, where he served at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, he channeled his quick wit and sense of humor into a successful sales career. Over several decades, he earned numerous sales awards and built lasting relationships throughout the Southeast. He also launched and managed several businesses of his own.
He was a true character—always ready with a joke. Bev loved nothing more than entertaining others and making them laugh. One of his favorite outlets for that joy was magic. As a professional stage magician for many years, he delighted audiences large and small with his illusions and sleight of hand. You could always count on Bev to have a card trick at the ready.
Bev was a compassionate soul, generous with his time and resources. He was involved with Shriners International and took great pride in supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children and other philanthropic causes..
A committed Freemason for more than 60 years, he served in various leadership roles in several lodges throughout his Masonic journey.
He was a skilled woodworker, crafting beautiful furniture for his family, often with his beloved Tennessee Vols playing on the radio.
He will be deeply missed.
