Margie Lee Kinder

Margie Lee Kinder, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the age of 80. She was surrounded by family and friends. Margie made preparations for this day many years ago. She was a member of Friendly View Baptist Church and sung for several years with the Friendly Four Quartet. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ulys Kinder; parents, Esmer and Lilly Willis; sister, Laura May Fugate; and brothers, Dallas Willis and Harold Lane.

She is survived by her sons, Esmer (Judy) Gibbs and Kenneth Kinder of Whitesburg; daughters, Lois (Randy) Miller and Beverly (Greg) Wilson of Whitesburg. Margie was a very loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two brothers, Junior Willis and Larry Lane; three sisters, Jean Church, Dottie Sawyer and Marie Johnson of Ohio; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, John Borman.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 19th at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Davis and Rev. Terry Greene officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services.
