Mark was born on July 26th, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas to his late parents William and Chelsia Campbell. After graduating from Morristown West High School, Mark joined the Air Force and proudly served our country from 1980 to 1991, including three tours in Iran and Afghanistan. After returning from his service, Mark joined the Morristown Police Department and served for 12 years as a patrol officer, police chaplain, and homicide detective. In those 12 years, he served his city with love and joy, bringing hope and happiness to his community. Not only did he love the Lord, Mark shared his love for the Lord by preaching the gospel and leading the southern gospel group, Won Heart. Mark also spent a number of years driving a tour bus for his favorite southern gospel group, The Perrys, and the Mark Trammell Quartet. In between his tours with The Perrys, Mark trained officers in Kandahar, Afghanistan. His love did not stop there. Mark was a loving father, grandfather, brother, husband, and friend. More than that, he was kind, caring, compassionate, devoted, patriotic, and FOX NEWS’ biggest fan. A great example of his devotion was his relentless fandom for the Dallas Cowboys. Above all else, Mark’s love for those around him is what he will be remembered for.
