Roy graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in Salem, VA. He was a pioneer in the computer world when computers filled entire rooms and he was a bass player with the Fabulous Shades. In his later years, his favorite past time was riding his Harley with his biker buddies.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Marvin and Ruth Fisher.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie Fisher, sons: Gregg Fisher and Jack Fisher; step daughter: Kathey Hurley Krupsky; stepsons: Billy Hale and Steve Hale. Brother: Gary (Debbie) Fisher. Grandchildren: Ella Fisher, Olivia Fisher, Noah Fisher, Taelor Wallace, Rachel Hale, Colby Hale and Wes Hale. Great grandchildren: Stella Hale and Jaxon Hale. Niece: Kelley Allebaugh; great niece: Aubrey Allebaugh and many cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of s service at this time, a private gathering oh his family will be held at his favorite place in Luray, VA next May.
