Mary Pearl Hayes, age 86, of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her home. She was a member of Mosheim Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hayes; parents, Luther and Mary Hayes; great-grandson, William Holten Hayes; sisters, Alice Rush, Ruby Laster, Oma Parker; and brothers, Bill Hayes, Johnny Hayes, and Mayford Hayes. Survivors include her children, Tony (Kay) Hayes, Mike (Vonda) Hayes, and Brenda Sullivan; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Dennis Alder and Rev. Marty Hicks will officiate. Family and friends will meet in Philippi Cemetery on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service. Services are under the direction of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
