Melodye J. Hettler, age 57, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was employed by the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency. Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Gary Hettler; daughter, Amanda Perry; son, Macaja (Tracie) Mason Jr; grandchildren, Jakeb Perry, Samantha Mason, Danielle Mason, Macaja Mason III; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, March 16 at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hamblen Co. Humane Society.
