

Norma Lou Brooks Clark, age 81, of Mooresburg, formerly of Morristown, born January 29, 1932, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 29, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of Stoney Gap Baptist Church in Hancock County. Upon entering the golden gates, she was welcomed into the arms of her 1st husband, Carl Brooks, 2nd husband, Kenneth Bradley and 3rd husband, Rev. William Johnny Clark; son, Dennis Brooks; parents, Luke and Maude Trent; sisters, Edna Mahan Greene and Adele Lawson; and brothers, Edward, Houston, Paul, Luther, Carl, Kermit and Q M Trent.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Brooks Johns; son, Kenneth Elmer Brooks; brother, Tom Trent; grandchildren, Casey Johns, Devan Finley, Joseph A. Johns, and Michael Brooks; great-grandchildren, Matthew Sprouse, Alex Kelley, Nicholas Short, Olivia and Kaitlyn Johns, and William Finley; great-great-grandchildren, Grayson and Isaac Kelley; special nieces, Dorlene (Harold) Ramsey, Anna (Howard) Johnson, Katrina Mahan, Vickey McCoy, Sylvia Jo (Kyle) Fugate, Claudette (Dan) Jarnigan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 – 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to wish a special thank you to great-niece, Regina Anderson and great-great-niece, Allison Anderson, for their loving care during her hospital stay.
