Norma Jean Dominguez was born on January 12, 1941 to Charles and Mary McCoy in Mohawk, Tennessee. She went to her eternal home on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Hatcher, Louise Taylor; and one brother, J.C. McCoy. Norma touched the lives of many people with her willingness to always help those who needed her. She was a strong, independent and caring person. She fought hard until the very end.
Norma is survived by her children, Johnnie (Tania) Taylor of St. Simons Island, GA, Ronnie (Mary) Taylor of Rutledge, GA, Brenda (Robert) Maxwell, Kathy (Leon) Maxwell, Steve (Debora) Taylor all of Elgin, IL, and Robin Lamb (David H.) of Mohawk, TN; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Betty Hatcher, of Morristown, Arkie Bennett, of Cadiz, KY, Bonnie Cheek, of Machesney Park, IL; and a special niece, Charlotte Shelton who the family is forever grateful for. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Perry Foshie officiating. Interment will follow in Tieke Cemetery. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home, Morristown, TN
