

Mrs. Ollie Azelea Roberston Oliver of Bean Station, age 97, passed away peacefully on her husband’s birthday, January 16, 2026, in Rogersville, Tennessee. Born on May 29, 1928, in Morristown, Tennessee, she lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and compassion.
Ollie was the beloved daughter of James E. Robertson and Pearl Robertson. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 51 years, Jack Oliver and her brothers James Robertson, J.C. Robertson, Harmon Robertson, and Eugene Robertson, son in law Jeff Brooks.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Ollie was a charter member of Adriel Missionary Baptist Church since 1940. Her unwavering devotion to her church community spanned more than eight decades. She was known for her kind and giving spirit and for the Christian wisdom she generously shared with those around her. Her love for scripture was evident in her daily life—she found great joy in reading her Bible and expressing herself through heartfelt poetry.
Ollie’s legacy lives on through the many generations of family who cherished her presence and guidance. She is survived by her daughters Linda Wolfenbarger (Charles) and Rebecca Brooks; her sister Barbara Buell; and her grandchildren Amy Gibson, Sherry Satterfield (Terry), Kim Harville (Marvin), Lori Ray (Tim), and Jason Long.
Her great-grandchildren include Wesley Dotson, Heather Moon, Tiffany McCaster, Anthony Satterfield, Ayden Harville, Colin Harville, MaKayla Pennington, Mackenzie Roper, Destiny Ray, Payton Long, Caleb Long, Brittany Newsome, Colby Ray, and Kassie Howard.
She also leaves behind great-great-grandchildren Emory Dotson, Ella Dotson, Hudson Bryant, Case Bryant, Greyson Moon, Josiah McCaster, Isaiah McCaster, Ellie Satterfield, Emsley Long, Madelyn Newsome, Jersee Newsome, Tynzlee Newsome
Ollie's life was a testament to enduring faith and quiet strength. Her gentle presence touched the lives of all who knew her. Whether through a kind word of encouragement or a poem penned from the heart, she offered comfort and inspiration to many. The last few weeks of her life were spent under the wonderful and compassionate care of Signature Healthcare of Rogersville and Gentiva Hospice Care.
May her memory bring peace to those who loved her and continue to inspire generations to come. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, TN with the funeral to follow at 5:00 pm. Tim Collins & Scott Howerton, officiating. Burial will be at Adriel Missionary Baptist Church in Bean Station on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
