Pearl Hipshire

She was very loving, full of life and believed in the Lord. She loved family gatherings, dinners, and a good game of Rook. She was a kind hearted person and fed the mouths of many, you never went hungry. Pearl was saved at a young age and a member at Rock Haven Missionary Baptist Church that she loved dear to heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Gilbert and Opal Atkins, husband: Ray G. Hipshire, the love of her life of 64 years. Brothers: Monroe, Bill Raye, Matthew, Charlie, Albert "Ab" and Euless Atkins. Sisters: Mammie Farrow and Georgie Coffey.

Pearl is survived by her children: Patricia (Edward) Jarnigan, Carolyn (Marvin) Collins, Lisa Smith, Donna Allen, Virch (Missy) Hipshire, Zina Hipshire, Scott (Debbie) Hipshire, and Tiffany Voiles, whom she raised as her own. She was blessed with 22 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Rock Haven Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Gulley, Rev. Dusty Jones and Rev. Buster Jarvis officiating. Music will be provided by the Purkey Family. Interment will follow in the Hipshire Family Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Dale Cope, Waylon Lamb, Michael Lamb, Brandon Lamb, Dustin Bowlin and Douglas Combs.
