Phyllis Howington Wright

Phyllis was a retired employee of 42 years from Berkline in Morristown and she also worked in the cafeteria at Fairview Marguerite Elementary School for 10 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was a member of West View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Edna Howington of Russellville, TN; stepmother Chassie Howington of Russellville, TN; father and mother-in-law Ralph and Mary Wright of Morristown, TN, brother-in-law Ron (Dottie) Wright of Morristown, TN, and sister-in-law Betty (Ed) Hurst. She is survived by her husband, Robert Wright of Russellville, TN; son John (Brenda) Wright of Morristown, TN; daughter, Karen (Ron) Howard of Jefferson City, TN; brother Wayne (Lena) Howington of Kodak, TN; sister Sheila (Larry) Shrader of Whitesburg, TN; and sister-in-law Frances (Frankie) Susong of Morristown, TN; grandchildren: Logan, Jaxson, Peyton, Alexis, Estin, Emme, Pazzlee, Sarah, and Bobby; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

The family would like to extend thank you to her caregivers at Saint Thomas Rutherford, who showed so much love and compassion to Phyllis and family while she was there.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association to help end this disease. Stubblefield Funeral Home will be handling cremation and the family will not be having funeral services at this time.
