Porter Hamilton Breeding

Porter Hamilton Breeding, age 87, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for many years. He also was a retired employee of the American Enka/BASF Company. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Breeding; mother, Clara Bullen Breeding; and brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Grace Golden Breeding; daughter, Audrey (Sam) Hammer of Dandridge; son, Randy (Karen) Breeding and daughter, Barbara (Allan) Underwood, all of Morristown; grandchildren, Austin and Emily Breeding of Morristown, Cynthia Gardner of Surfside Beach, SC; great-granddaughters, Nikki Walker and Lindsey Gardner of SC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Jones and Rev. Sonny Fultz officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Thursday by 10:45 a.m. for a procession to the gravesite in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the services.
