Ralph W. Johns, age 97, of Sneedville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Hancock County Hospital. He was a member of War Creek Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was his wife, Pauline E. Johns; daughter, Judy A. Miller; parents, Brown and Susan Johns; sisters, Lean Riley and Mildred Moles; and brother, Jess Johns.
Survivors include his sons, Bruce (Linda) Johns, Ralph (Karen) Johns, Duane (Donna) Johns; daughter, Virginia Zoeller; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Lane; brother, Junior Grant Johns; special friend, Tom Davenport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob Zavetteri and Rev. Billy Couch officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
