Ray Neeley

Ray Edward Neeley, age 88, longtime resident of Bean Station, Tennessee went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 12th 2026. He passed away at his home, surrounded by family. His journey through life, which began on October 2nd, 1937 in Salyerville, Ky, was marked by an unwavering commitment to his family, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was married to the love of his life, Beulah, for 55 years and they had 5 wonderful children together. Ray retired from Ford Motor Company in Lima, Ohio after 40 years of service as an Oiler. Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling, working on cars, camping, hunting, cb radios, and spending time with his family and friends anytime he could. He wore many titles in his lifetime, but none brought him greater joy than being a husband, dad, and papaw.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Curtis Neeley; wife, Beulah Hunter Neeley; his daughter, Deleasa Neeley; his brothers, Harold, Ronnie, and Connie Neeley; and sister, Dorothy Harpest.

He is survived by his children, Ray Dewayne Neeley, Darryl (Denise) Neeley, Dorenda (Bo) Gosa, and Starla (Garrett) Hensley; sister Joanne Gunnells; grandchildren, Eric Cariello, Mandy Reichelderfer, Angela (Michael) Helton, Christina Neeley, Kayla (Tory) Troutt, Johnathan (Mandi) Neeley, Aj (Kayla) Neeley, Jasmine (Trevor) Rickard, Miranda (Dennis) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Reece, Brianna, Kaylie, Brentlee, Jaidan, Xander, Amelia, Kennedy, Greyson, Jaxyn, Alyja, and Memphis; great-great grandchildren, Nova, Koa, and Dallas; countless friends who became family throughout the years; and a special friend, Tammy Wallace.

He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, unconditional love, and a family that will forever cherish his memory.

The family will receive friends at Stubblefield funeral home on Thursday, September 17th, 2026 from 5pm-7pm with a service to follow officiated by Pastor Travis Bowden. The burial will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at Dalton Cemetery in Bean Station, Tennessee.
