Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Rudd, age 56, of Bean Station, was called home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her sister, Stacy Brooks; and father, Raymond Jones. Becky was blessed with many wonderful friends and an amazing church family. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Stephen “Steve” Rudd; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Joseph Matthews; three beautiful grandchildren, Bradley Bishop, Blaine Matthews, and Baylee Matthews; mother and step-father, Curt and Sue Brooks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Sheila Brooks, and Johnny and Debbie Brooks; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert White officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. in Eastview Memorial Gardens in Strawberry Plains on Saturday for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening prior to the services at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
