Richard Wayne Lee

He was a long standing member and deacon of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Hamblen County Car Club where he loved showing off his 67 Chevy Nova.

Preceding him in death are his parents: Nin Charles and Nellie (Collins) Lee; sisters and brother's -in-law: Dorothy (Jimmy) Crouch, Wilma (Bill) Kesterson, Mary Lynn (Sonny) Gibson and Ruby Lee. Sister-in-law: Lois Lee and brothers: JT and Jackie Lee.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Donna Jane Lee; son: Richard Wayne Lee, Jr., and daughter: Heather (Lance) Cummings. His precious grandchildren: Erin Cummings, Matthew Cummings and Megan Lee. Brother: Otis Lee and several special nieces and nephews. He had many friends and was loved by all who knew him.

A special thank you goes to Avalon Hospice; Stacy, Austyne and Alyson; for all of their loving care and concern.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 AM on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 at Courtney Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service. Rev. Donald Swatzell and Rev. Franklin Barnette will be officiating.
