He was preceded in death by his parents: Marvin and Elizabeth Merrell.
Dick is survived by his wife: Sharon Merrell; sons: Robbie Merrell, Michael (Lisa) Saylor and Shawn (Sara) Saylor; grandchildren: Misa (Nick) Foster, Briley Saylor, Kenda Saylor, Tanner Merrell, Logan and Andrew and great grandchild: Finnleigh Foster. SIster: Diane Capp and brothers: Sam and Larry Merrell.
His family will have a celebration of life service at a later date.
