Robert K. Bowers (Bobby), age 77, of Morristown, went to be with our Lord on the morning of September 18, 2023 surrounded by his family. Bobby was a Sergeant in the Army and served in the Korean war. He was co-owner/operator of Hibiscus Mobile Home Court and worked at Jeffrey Chain for 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rurie and Mary Elizabeth (Geneva) Bowers, Fred Beal, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bobby is survived by his son Michael (Nova) Bowers, grandsons Noah and Nolan Bowers, his sisters Carolyn Beal (Carroll) Gilliam, Nancy Beal Gregg, Aunt Betty Smith Helton, Marilyn Bowers, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Military graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, September 21st at 2:30 pm in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
