He was an Army Veteran that found his greatest joy in attending Montvue Baptist Church where he belonged.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Gulley; his mother, Gertrude Bernard Gulley; six brothers, Howard, Tom, Lynn, William "Dub" George, Ira Lee Gulley, and two sisters, Betty Rhea and Mary Long. His first wife, Mary Marie Gulley and his second wife: Kathleen Gulley, and daughter: Kimberly Gulley.
Robert is survived by Mabel McDermott of Morristown, Georgia Street of White Pine and John (Linda) Gulley of Talbott; his three sons: Billy, David and Mark. Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Odell Davidson officiating. Military graveside services will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, that you and your family attend church this Sunday morning.
