He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and loved his family and his church family.
He was preceded in death by his father: George T. Byrd and mother: Trula Byrd.
Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patsy Byrd; daughter: Rhonda (David) Shoemaker; sons: Josh and Jeremy Byrd. Grandchildren: Jacob Byrd, Bryan Money and Brianna Shoemaker; great grandchildren: Atley and Christine Money. Sister: Peggy Denton, niece: Tonya Denton and nephew: Rob (Eustacia) Pratt.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will occur Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Alder and Rev. Marcus Long officiating. Burial to follow immediately in the Riverview Church Cemetery.
