Arnie was saved at a young age and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude by those who knew him and shared life alongside him. He shared a beautiful and devoted relationship with the love of his life, Rita Reedy. Together they built a life filled with love, companionship, and unwavering support.
Arnie is survived by his longtime partner, Rita Reedy; his son, Thomas Bivens; his daughters, Arniece Smalldridge and Shani Bivens both of North Carolina, and Shay Shields of Dandridge, Tennessee; his brothers, Chris and Lowell Bivens; and 11 grandchildren.
Receiving of Friends and Family will be held at Stubblefield Funeral Home, 5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, Tennessee 37814, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
