Teresa Ann Corn

Teresa was born on January 17th 1973 in Asheville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Ann Summey.

She attended A.C Reynolds High School.

Teresa truly enjoyed life to the fullest through simple pleasure; listening to music, being outdoors,baking,being with her family and spending time with her pets. In her eyes, her pets were her children and she treated them as such. Though she never had any children of her own, she spent a lot of time with her nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her kindness, the joy she brought into every room, and her humor. She will be remembered for the fact that if she was able to show up for you, she would. Teresa made everyone around her feel comfortable and loved. Teresa sang in the choir at Trinity Baptist Church on Shelburne Rd in Asheville,North Carolina. Although she wasn't able to continue attending Trinity Baptist Church, she listened to sermons at home and she loved Jesus.

She is survived by her fiance Don Aaron Penland, her mother Ann Summey, her brother Tim Laws, her sister Leslie Haun and brother-in-law Robert Haun Sr. along with her nieces and nephews, Andrea & Custodio Brito,Robert & Christy Haun Jr, Amanda & Peyton Atkins, Adison Haun,Brown Haun, and Ansley Haun and her great nieces and nephews Carmen Brito, Milla Haun, Robert Haun III, Vincent Brito, Harriet Atkins, Felix Brito, and Bonnie Atkins.

Visitation with her family will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Stubblefield Funeral Home from 12 noon until 2:00 pm. Funeral services will then follow at 2 pm with Rev. Allen Rash officiating.
