.THOMAS H. “BUS” MALLICOAT, age 95 of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Mallicoat; sons, Ray Dean Mallicoat and Tommy Mallicoat; parents, Ellis and Martha Wright Mallicoat; sisters, Hazel, Liza, Dola and Lois; brothers, Frank, Jim, Jack and Ellis Jr; son-in-law, Garry Talley. He is survived by his children, Billie Jean Talley, Darlene McKenzie and husband Daryl, Ronnie Mallicoat and wife Kim; grandchildren, Zachary Mallicoat and wife Pamela and Christian Mallicoat; sister, Betty Hayes; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Military graveside will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens with VFW Post# 5266 and the Rev. George McCoy officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to Amedisys Hospice, 116 Jack White Drive, Kingsport, TN 37664. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
