Virginia Jo Whitehead, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was retired from Magnavox and a member of Pollard Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Pease; parents, Paul and Liza Bunch; and sister, Georgia Bunch. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Wayne Whitehead; son, Gary (Donna) Pease of Hawkins Co; daughters, Connie Pease of Morristown, Gloria (Jerad) Hurst of Tazewell; brother, Tom (Joyce) Bunch of Morristown; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Timmy Farrow, Rev. Rodney Satterfield, and Rev. Kim Farrow officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
