Vivian Marlene "Nanny" Williams

MARLENE “NANNY” WILLIAMS, age 80 of Talbott, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 31, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Greene’s Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy “Pop” Williams; daughter, Vivian Williams; parents, Roy and Cleo Bentley; grandson, B.J. Greene; son-in-law, Jerry Stump; 2 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie and Charlie Greene and Sandra Stump; 3 grandsons, Chuck and Becky Greene, Allen and Toni Stump and Greg and Brooke Stump; great-grandchildren’ Chuckie and Brandon Greene, Macy, Braxton, Preston, Olivia Stump and Adaira Damron; great-great-grandchildren, Dannika and Azlyn Stump; brothers, Roy and Geniva Bentley and Dale and Mary Bentley; sister, Louise and Mike Dohrom; special pets, Littlle Bit and Joe Joe; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Greene’s Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Greene and the Rev. Doug Livesay officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in State 30 minutes prior to the service. Pallbearers will be: Ray Bowlin, Brandon Greene, Jeff Enix, Kenny Lane, Billy Denton, Jordon Enix, Cody Enix and Josh Lane.
