Willie A Jarnigan

Willie Alex Jarnigan, age 73, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Lee Ann Jarnigan Woods; parents, Sam and Ollie McDaniel Jarnigan; grandson, James Isaiah “Little Willie” Shane Barker; brothers, Curtis “Buddy” Jarnigan , Merman Dean Jarnigan, Beby James Jarnigan and Jackie Leslie Jarnigan; sister-in-law, Joyce Hatcher Jarnigan; and brothers-in-law, Charles Herbert McAmis, Robert “Bobby” White, and Charles Wayne Simmons.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Lee Anderson Jarnigan, William Steven Jarnigan, and Willie Shane Jarnigan; grandchildren, Corey and Collin Jarnigan, Martha Jarnigan Thornburg, Jacylin Jarnigan, and Justin, Austin, and Holden White; and several great-grandchildren; brother, Sammy Herbert (Linda) Jarnigan; sisters, Flossie (Ray) Horton, Martilla McAmis, Betty Joe White, Bennie Lou Simmons, Janice (Howell) Fox, Blanche(Bill) Russell; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Jarnigan, Gloria Jarnigan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Russell and Rev. Barry Warren officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the services. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
