Alex Karoffa, Jr.

Alex Karoffa Jr., 89, of Morrow, Georgia, passed away on March 22, 2021. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Morrow on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 am. Rev. David Tew will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at 10:30 am, prior to service. Masks are required.

Alex retired from the United States Air Force and was a fireman while in service.  He loved fishing and vacations to Myrtle Beach with his wife, Evelyn Karoffa, whom he was married to for 71 years.  He also loved his vacations to Helen, Georgia with his wife & family on Mother's Day each year.  

Alex leaves behind a son, Alex Karoffa III, married to Christy Karoffa of Canton, Georgia and a daughter, Cheryl "Cherie" Stillwell of Lawrenceville, Georgia.   He had another son who predeceased him, Alan Randall “Randy” Karoffa, married to Susan Karoffa of Griffin, Georgia. 

One of Alex's biggest accomplishments was being a Provider, a Great Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather.  He leaves behind his Grandchildren, Alston Babb & Devon Fairorth, Aysha & Stephen Ballis, Benji & Melissa Bell, Wendy & Scott Caldwell, Amanda & Barkley Hart, Alan & Dee Karoffa, Dustin & Carolyn Karoffa, and Amber Stillwell.  He also leaves behind his eight Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren.
