Cathy Padgett Hart Bradford, of McDonough, passed away on November 21, 2014. Mrs. Bradford was a former member of both Jones Memorial UMC in Lake City and Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Rev. R. Gregory Meadows will be officiating. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home prior to service from 1-3 pm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace "Mit" Bradford. She is survived by her parents, Pete and Dot Padgett; children, Tara Powell (Joey), Ken Hart (Kim), Tammie Akin (Larry); brother, Dan Padgett (Bev); grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many other family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donating to one of the following churches: Wesley Way UMC, 150 John Wesley Way, McDonough, Ga 30252 or Turning Point Church, 78 Old Jackson Rd., McDonough, Ga 30252.
