Christopher Alan Ray, 55, was born May 29, 1971, in Atlanta, and died October 4, 2026. He lived in Stockbridge, Georgia. Christopher will be remembered with deep respect for the steady, meaningful way he moved through life—showing up with quiet dedication, thoughtful presence, and a genuine appreciation for the people and interests that mattered to him.
Christopher graduated from Morrow High School, Class of 1989, and later attended Ga State University, majoring in Film. He devoted 30 years of service to Finan Templeton Derma pathology Associates, where his long tenure reflected reliability, commitment, and pride in a job done well.
Outside of work, Christopher’s curiosity and creative spirit found a natural home in the arts and media. He enjoyed producing, directing, and editing films, and he loved music of all genres—especially collecting and listening to vinyl records. He also enjoyed podcasting and had a lasting enthusiasm for all things pop culture. A devoted pet lover, Christopher had a special affection for cats and, mostly, dogs.
Christopher was preceded in death by parents Virginai and Earl Ray, and brother David Ray. He is survived by sister Ginny Lenning, brother Timothy Ray, several nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, 6362 S. Lee Street, Morrow, GA 30260, on October 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Interment will be private.
