Dorothy Lewis, of Palmetto, Ga., passed away on January 17, 2015. A service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00am. Rev. Chris Reynolds and Deacon Lamar West will be officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Tallapoosa, Ga. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home this evening from 5-8pm. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Williamson (Danny) of Jackson, Dixie Lee Hulse (Larry) of Jackson, and Angie Nicholson of Jackson; sisters, Marie Glisch of Palmetto and Dixie Owenby (Norris) of Marietta; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
