Geneva Claudine Silas passed away on March 7, 2012. A service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 1:00pm. Bro. Edward Murray to officiate. Interment to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 5-8pm. Survivors include her daughters Renee Marbut of Forest Park, Nicky Stallings of Senoia, and Benita Potts of Union City; son, Johnny Silas of Forest Park; 6 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Ash Street Baptist Church in Forest Park.
