Helen J. Maddox, of Conley, passed away on December 10, 2017. Services will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Brandon Martin will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service from 11am-1pm. She is survived by her nieces, Melinda Martin of Griffin, Myra Roberts of Stockbridge, and Michelle Lassiter of Flovilla; brother, O.E.(Edgar) Johnston, Jr. (Sarah) of Griffin; nephew, Wendell Johnston of Fayetteville. The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers: Trixie King, Brenda Beckham, Marcella Garcia, Nikki Cantrell, Dianne Hammond, Jewell McCoy, Carol Coy, and Beverly Blankenship.
