Jack E. Jernigan, Navy veteran, of Lake City, passed away on June 5, 2020. Mr. Jernigan was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late, Robert Fay Jernigan and Mable Lena Sharp Jernigan. A memorial service will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 11:00 am. Dr. Jim Smith will be officiating.
He is survived by his son, Jon Jernigan of Lake City; brothers, Bob Jernigan (Lois) of Tucker and Gene Jernigan (Malinda) of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews.
