Mr. James Perkins, Jr. of Fayetteville passed away December 13, 2012. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Rev Tommy Aman will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm prior to service time. In addition there will be a graveside service Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Summer Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Statesboro, Ga. The family will receive friends at Summer Hill Baptist Church at 1:00 pm Tuesday prior to graveside service. James is survived by his wife, Pearl Perkins; daughters, Veronica Scott, Snellville, Diane Hargrave (Clinton), Virginia Beach, VA., Laquinta Montgomery (Bill), Fayetteville, Jeanette Crane, Fayetteville and Cassandra Webb (Isaac) , Fayetteville; sons, Kevin Perkins, Maryland and Derrick Ward, New York; sisters, Dorothy McLeod, North Carolina and Janie Gregory, California; 14 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
