Ralph "Mac" McDuffie, Jr., of Lake City, passed away on June 15, 2019. Mr. McDuffie served as Lake City Councilman. He attended Oglethorpe University and Georgia State. He is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science Degree.Ralph served at Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and is a member of First Baptist Church Forest Park where he served as a Treasurer, Director of the Sunday School Department and teacher. Ralph was also a member of the Forest Park Kiwanis Club.
A memorial service is will be held at the First Baptist Church of Forest Park on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 11:00 am. Dr. Reed Crumbliss will be officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Goddard McDuffie. He is survived by his daughters, Lucy Dianne Tillman-Mendez (Homero) of Concord and Lisa Tillman of Concord; brother, Clifton McDuffie of Oakwood; grandchildren, Luke and Logan Mendez-Tillman, Melissa Wyatt, and Johnny Wyatt (Destiny); great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Angel, Isabella, and Coraline; nieces and nephews, Mark McDuffie (Julie), Marshall McDuffie, and Melissa Giles (Doug).
