Russell Kent Collins, of Morrow, passed away on April 16, 2014. A service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:00 am. Pastor Dave will be officiating. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-8 pm.He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Brooks Collins; Sons, Russell Scott Collins(Kristen Simpson) of Jonesboro, Shane Hensley of Morrow; brother, Raymond Hill Collins, II (Darlene) of Eagle River, AK; sister-in-laws, Frances Romedy (James), Patricia Pritchet (Rick); grandchild, Shelby Marie Collins; a host of loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family asks to receive plants that can be replanted in his memory.
