Teresa Bullington was born in Georgia on October 9, 1961, to the late Horace and Catherine Bullington. Teresa was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Catherine Bullington; her brother, Charles Bullington; her sisters, Peggy Toney and Betty Bullington; her grandson, Jasper Wood; and her nephew, Mark Tatum.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Serena Burke, Selena Wood, Lee Wood, and Amanda Ayers; her grandchildren, Michael Burke Jr., Brittany Wood, Kayla Jarrard, Abigail Jarrard, Jayden Jarrard, and Chance Ayers; and her sisters, Audrey Tatum and Charolette Athearn.
Teresa had a deep love for her family and found joy in the things that brought her happiness throughout her life. She loved attending church at Calvary Holiness in Fayetteville and enjoyed watching football, especially cheering on the Atlanta Falcons. She also enjoyed coloring, listening to music, and spending time playing with her beloved dogs.
Teresa was trained in the medical field and dedicated herself to helping others throughout her life. Her caring spirit, love for her family, and the memories she created with those around her will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Funeral Services
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2027, at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow the funeral service at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
