With heavy hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Tonya Lynn Thomas, whose faith, love, and devotion to her family were a beautiful reflection of the woman she was. She was a woman whose love, strength, and compassion brought comfort and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved, and she had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and at home. Whether through her comforting words, generous heart, or warm smile, she touched countless lives and created memories that will be cherished forever.

Of all the roles she held in life, being a mother was the one she treasured most. Her daughters were her world, and she embraced motherhood with a love and devotion that was unmatched. She always said being a mom was what she was meant to do, and she did that job beautifully. She never missed an appointment, a game, a competition, or a milestone. She was always there — the person we could count on, the one cheering us on, supporting us, and loving us through every season of life. She didn’t just show up; she gave her entire heart.

Being a Lovey was one of her greatest blessings. She adored her grandson, Callum, and loved and knew every little detail about him. Her bond with him was something truly special. She had a way of making him feel safe and loved, and he knew that Lovey was always there.

She found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved crafting and had a gift for creating anything and everything with her own hands. She loved decorating and had a way of making every space feel warm and beautiful. She loved the beach, spending time with her family, going to church, going to get iced coffee, enjoying Mexican food, and watching the deer in her backyard.

She was kind, loving, and always had a smile that could brighten a room. Her warmth, generosity, and love were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her faith was a beautiful part of who she was. She loved the Lord, loved attending church, and found strength and comfort in her relationship with God. She lived her life with a servant’s heart, showing love, kindness and compassion to everyone she met.

Though our hearts ache with her absence, we are grateful for every moment, every memory, and every lesson of love she left behind. Her legacy will continue through the family she loved so fiercely. She was the heart of our family, and she will forever be loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

Tonya Lynn Thomas age 52 of Zebulon Ga, passed away on 07/11/2026. She was born on 04/24/1974 in Atlanta Ga to Maureen and Jerry Stubbs.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Thomas, her daughters, Taylor Cochran and Madison Thomas and her grandson, Callum Cochran, her sibling, Troy Stubbs; and many other family members and friends who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
