Vernoy Clinton "V.C." Palmer, WWII Navy Veteran, of Jackson, passed away on January 26, 2018. His services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1:00pm. Rev. Roger Denton will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service from 11:00am-1:00pm. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Farmer (Terry) of Winder; son, John Palmer (Nancy) of Jackson; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
