Abraham Zamora

He is survived by his mother, Felipa Zamora, his older sister, Gloria Garcia, and younger sister, Rita Adams. He was preceded in death by his father, Abraham Zamora, Sr. He was born in Los Angeles, California in December of 1945. After earning an Associates degree from West Valley College in California, he joined the U.S. Air Force. He trained as an Information Technology Specialist and continued in that career field as a civilian until he retired. He was an avid hunter, camper, coin collector, and golfer. Abraham was also a Clamper and an Eagles Club member.

Known to friends as “Uncle” or “Honest Abe”, and to family as “Uncle Sonny”, he will be missed by all the veterans in Randle, Washington, Carson City, Nevada, and by all of his nieces and nephews across the United States from Maryland to Hawaii. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brown Mortuary Service, Morton.
