Brittney was preceded in death by her mother, Michele Marie MeltingTallow; grandparents, LaVerne and Pearl Farnworth; and aunt, Linda Parker.
She is survived by her children, Kimber and Sawyer Dowling; loving father, Lee Vern Farnworth; step-mother, Cynthia Farnworth Corbray; husband, Nathan Corbray; brother, Branden MeltingTallow and wife, Katie MeltingTallow; brother, Jeremy MeltingTallow; aunts and uncles; and boyfriend, Jacob Alfred.
Brittney spent her early years in Yakima, Washington, learning to jet-ski at six years old and finding ways to get in trouble with her mother. She loved working on cars with her grandpa. She enjoyed practical jokes, especially when they were played on her favorite target, Uncle James.
She moved with her dad to La Center, Washington, at the age of 12. There, she grew into a young lady, making lifelong friends and graduating high school in 2008. Growing roots in the community of Vancouver, Washington, she married Tyler Dowling, and had two children, Kimber, seven years old and Sawyer, four years old. Their relationship may have ended, but they worked together to raise their children. They were her light and they will be sure to miss their momma.
Brittney was loved by many and will be missed by many more. Her short life touched so many people it is hard to mention them all here. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, starting with a viewing at 10:00 and services to start at 11:00 am at the Presbyterian church in Packwood, Washington. All are welcome to attend. There will be a private graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Packwood and we will gather to celebrate her life afterwards at High Valley Country Club.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brown Mortuary Service.
