Cindy Rose Stout

Cindy Rose Stout passed away on September 20, 2021 surrounded by family. Cindy was born on July 5th, 1941 in Morton, WA, to Pearl and McKinley Stiltner. She was the 8th of 9 children. Cindy graduated from Morton High School in 1959.

In 1961 Cindy married Don Bailey. They made their home in Sunnyside, WA where they had a son, Kris G. Bailey. Their marriage ended and Cindy moved back to Morton.

On September 7, 1978, Cindy married the love of her life, Merle Stout. They spent 25 years together driving the backroads, exploring America and enjoying life until his passing in 2003.

Following a stroke in 2009, Cindy lived with her son, Kris. After his sudden passing in 2017, she moved to Moses Lake, WA under the care of her grandson Kris A. and his wife Christy. In recent years she has enjoyed meeting new friends, playing Bingo, drives to look at Christmas lights, and treasuring her 3 great grandchildren.

Cindy is survived by her three grandsons, Kris and Christy, with son David, James and Tyler, with daughters Kenzie and Haven, McKinley “Mack” and her last living sibling, Edna and Ron Wines.

The Stout family would like to thank Lakeview Homecare for the care that they have shown her while she lived there. We would also like to thank Moses Lake Assured Hospice for all that they have done.

Services will be held at Brown’s Funeral Home in Morton on October 13, 2021 at 11 am with internment to follow at the Stiltner Cemetery.
